Preview: The proper way to praise and worship the Lord. This is the second lesson in a three-part series of lessons on this subject.

Scripture Reading: Psalm 148:1-13.

Memory Verse: Psalm 19:1.

1. Do we find in the foregoing Scriptures that all of God’s creations praise and glorify Him?
2. Should all types of musical instruments be used to glorify God in the Church? Psalm 150:1-5.
Note: Often we decide that certain instruments should not be used in our worship, but it is not the instrument but the use of it that determines whether or not it praises and magnifies God.
3. Did Nebuchadnezzar praise God when he realized who He was? Daniel 4:34 & Daniel 4:37.
4. How did Mary react when she learned she would be the mother of Jesus? Luke 1:45-48.
5. How did the shepherds respond to the birth of Jesus? Luke 2:8-11, Luke 2:16 & Luke 2:20.
6. How did the heavenly host praise Him? Luke 2:13-14.
Note: Let us not be afraid to lift up our hands and our voices in praise. If we know Him we will praise Him.
7. How did the Samaritan praise Christ when He healed the ten lepers? Luke 17:11-16.
8. What made him different from the other nine who were healed? Luke 17:17-19.
Note: This one man who was not even a Jew (or Christian) came to thank Jesus because he believed. The greater our faith in Jesus, the more we will honor and praise Him.
9. How did the blind man and his companions react when Jesus healed him? Luke 18:35-43.
10. How great is our God that we should praise Him forever? Romans 11:36.
Note: Until we honestly believe with our whole hearts that God is all in all, that besides Him there is no other, we will not be able to truly praise Him.
