Preview: The Merriam-Webster definition of pure is: unmixed with any other matter; free from dust, dirt, or taint; containing nothing that does not properly belong. Maintaining our bodies and minds as pure vessels for the Lord is part of our duty to Him. This is part one of a two-part lesson on this subject.

Note: All parents should be careful about what they do in front of their children. They should also examine their children’s home life (their companions, the books and magazines they read, what they eat and drink, what they wear, and how their time is occupied). God demands parents to be godly and to train their children right. Pride, abundance of bread, and abundance of idleness contributed much to the gross immorality of Sodom and its downfall.
